Disclaimer

FURNITURE DAMAGES

RENOVATIO’s duties do not include moving furniture, lamps, lights, keys, plants, or any other item found in the work area. Whilst we will happy and carefully place it elsewhere, we accept no responsibility for any damage caused to any items during the move. 

DRY COAT

RENOVATIO will NOT be responsible for any damages to the paint due to the surface being wet or being recently repaired. We recommend to wait until the area is completely dry and cured.

We strongly  recommend respecting the drying time between coats of paint. We will not be responsible for any damage caused by not respecting these times or rules.

RUST

Once the rusting process has begun, it is very difficult to mitigate.

To fight the issue of rust, we recommend getting rid of all loose rust particles in the first place. Subsequently, a rust converter is applied, followed by a rust inhibiter primer, if required. We then apply the finishing coatings with an anti-rust paint.

SPECIAL SURFACES

There is no guarantee of success in aluminum or galvanized paint jobs, as due to chemical reactions, sometimes they can hold the paint, but some other times the pain peels off the surfaces immediately.

WATER

Water bubbles caused by wet wood or heat bubbles cannot be avoided sometimes. We prefer not to paint on wet or damaged surfaces. 

We cannot guarantee that the paint will not bubble up or chip on a surface that has been varnished, if the client requests it is painted over. We will do our very best to etch, sand and clean the surface before painting, but perfect results cannot be guaranteed if the previous coat is not completely removed. 

We recommend not to paint if the weather conditions are not suitable. We will only do so, in exceptional circumstances, if required by the client.

ROOFS & TERRACES

Red roof tiles are very fragile, and there is no way to protect them completely. 

Despite having vast experience walking on tiles, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to them because of their very delicate nature.

PRODUCTS & MATERIALS QUALITY

We strongly recommend using top quality products and materials. Experience has taught us that economical options do not offer long lasting results, and trying to save money on materials, might result in having to carry out the work twice. 

CLEANING SERVICE

We offer cleaning services before and after the paint work.

It usually is necessary to clean some areas before painting, but in some cases (nicotine, dust accumulation, old paint stains, droplets, animal hairs, etc.), a more thorough cleaning job will be necessary.

 With the previous evaluation we will include that extra in the budget.
